I love and care my text book
MOHAMAD FAIRUZ BIN MOHAMED FARDU
‘A
book is like opening a gift, you can open again and again.’ Such an
underrated quote in today’s times. People today never realize how grateful they
are to learn basic knowledge they need from a textbook. They keep saying you
don’t need this knowledge to survive. But in my opinion, I wouldn’t be so sure
about that.
One of the main reasons I love and
care my textbook is because it gives me a wide range of knowledge that can be
useful. Sure you couldn’t see where the knowledge can be used. But knowledge is
a tool that can be made shift into a powerful weapon that is strong enough to
change the world we live in. We got here thanks to it, the textbooks. Truly a
god’s blessing.
Textbooks don’t only give you
knowledge, they allow you to use other media’s, searching and further
understanding something. They give you the thirst for more knowledge. That’s
why we have so many successors of humankind. We get this positive obsession by
the textbook’s interesting ways to awaken our curiosity. They leave us tips,
info about something, crucial evidence and more! This doesn’t look useless to
me. In fact, society has completely misanalysed the concept of the textbook.
Thirdly, textbooks are like your
parents. Because, they contain good moral values, stories with amazing depth
and more positivity. This alone, can raise a child into pure success. Problem
is, parents give them phones, ruining their only chance to grow up as a better
person. I myself, see the errors of my ways from the past and reading my
textbooks back and forth, correcting my regrets and causing me to make that an
opportunity.
‘A pen is mightier than a sword’, so
did the ancient times wielded basic materials to write texts. Gradually
evolving into these master pieces I adore. But, the textbooks are getting more
unrecognized because of the degeneration breeding among society. I want my love
and care for my textbooks to be validated and shown to public. So, we should
take the good out of the bad from the textbooks and make them, our easiest way
to become a useful person.
